ABOUT US

A little background info ...

I'm Alan Clarke and I'm in my sixties now. We've had boats for as long as I can remember, and many different kinds of them. Some of my earliest memories as a toddler were of 'helping' my father and brother to build a timber punt for fishing on the local dam. And what adventures we had in that trusty vessel!

In my teens I got into sailing and then sail racing. At twenty I built a 42ft Roberts Offshore yacht to sail around the world and after that was a series of powered boats for racing and then I built a 14m twin-engined, tri-hulled aluminium vessel for exploring the remotest areas of Australia's north coast.

Another yacht followed that, and then the offshore fishing urge returned and for a while I had a romance with panga-style longboats.

As the offshore journeys became longer I needed a boat with more weather protection and which was sturdier and with highly dependable seaworthiness qualities - and that's what resulted in the Oceania. You only have to look at it to see its pedigree, and a trip in it confirms everything its fine looks suggest.

Now I need a larger one that can carry more and go further, so the 23WA is available at a bargain price. If you like the look of it give me a call today, because I doubt it'll hang around very long at this price.
